The GT12080-HG EXTENDED POWER KIT for Fiber to the Home (FTTH) Optical Network Terminal (ONT) Battery Back-up (BBU) is intended to provide the subscriber extended back-up time in case of power outages.
The GT12080-HG EXTENDED POWER KIT includes two (2) GT12080-HG, 12V, 8Ah, Goldtop batteries, one (1) YUASA Model YUA1202262 Multi-Use Smart Battery Charger and operating instructions.
The YUA1202262 Multi-Use Smart Battery Charger will charge and maintain two (2) GT12080-HG batteries. When plugged in, the charger provides a trickle charge to keep the batteries fully charged and ready to use.
In the event of a prolonged power outage, the subscriber can replace the depleted battery in the BBU with a fully charged battery.
